I believe art should be fun, joyful and uplifting.
I use the boldness of acrylic paint to celebrate Aussie flowers and birds.
They’re beautiful, they’re iconic and they look gorgeous on our walls, in our homes and businesses.
If I can bring a smile to your face then that is my goal achieved!
I live in Northern NSW in gorgeous subtropical Lismore on a property with rainforest regeneration, gardens, veggie patch, orchard, studio, ducks and three dogs, including my spoilt dachshund Olive.
I’ve painted on and off all my life. A formative teacher has been Wagga Wagga artist Willy SHEATHER and my first solo exhibition was in 2007 at the Wagga Wagga Gallery, called ‘As the Crow Spies’.
Since then I have exhibited locally at Lennox Arts Collective, Valley of Craftsmen, Yamba Gallery, Red Hill Gallery and Nimbin Gallery, where I won the Emerging Artist Prize in 2024.
Further afield I’ve had pieces at Goondiwindi ArtSpace, Pepperbox Gallery and Tyger Gallery.
I’ve held two Charity Open Garden Studio Days at my home so far, with the next one due to happen next year in 2027.
I’ve started my own website to be able to connect directly with people wanting happy and warm art for their home!
